All are accessible to non-skiers, and popular with hikers in the summer. Speaking of summer, this is when adrenaline activities such as ice climbing and paragliding come to the fore, as well as more gentle activities including hiking, biking and kayaking. Nightlife is a low-key affair in cosy Zermatt throughout the year, with bars such as Papperla Pub catering to a fun, laid-back crowd.
