Why Davos-Klosters?

They might be linked, but Davos and Klosters are very different beasts. Davos, famous for hosting the World Economic Forum, is a large, metropolitan town – although it’s also known as a legendary health resort, immortalised in Thomas Mann's novel, The Magic Mountain. Klosters, a 15-minute drive away, is much smaller, quieter and cosier – the perfect laid-back ski village. Together, these two contrasting resorts offer a wide range of options for active families, snow-bound adventurers and wellness seekers.
It’s also worth noting that Davos is working towards becoming the first climate-neutral holiday resort in Switzerland by 2030. To achieve this, guests and businesses are jointly funding the "myclimate Climate Fund Davos", supporting climate projects in the area.

Why is Davos-Klosters perfect for families?

Davos has a wide variety of activities – and a good dose of high-profile celebrity visitors – while the picturesque alpine resort of Klosters is much more discreet. Guests, which include members of the British Royal Family, like to stay below the radar. That means you won’t find flashy nightclubs and luxury boutiques. Instead, chic chalets, family-friendly restaurants and a down-to-earth village make Klosters the perfect pick for a luxury family skiing holiday.
Skiing is equally good in Davos and Klosters, with excellent conditions and groomed slopes for both downhill and cross-country skiing. While Klosters has top-notch ski tuition and lots of easy slopes for children, Davos offers a variety of child-friendly practice areas, making it perfectly geared for children and skiing beginners. The latter also offers a wide range of restaurants, shops and après-ski, as well as Switzerland’s largest ice skating arena and a total of eight toboggan runs, which means there’s lots to do away from the slopes for the whole family.
