Masseria Torre Coccaro, Puglia, Italy

Where childhood dreams come true

A vacation at magical Masseria Torre Coccaro feels like travelling back in time. The hotel is a perfect example of hospitality at highest level combined with the finest sense for the demands of modern families. Almost every night there are entertaining and charming evenings organised in the historical courtyard with musicians, wizards and artists. And before you dine with your dearest on the romantic restaurant terrace. The family-run hotel, owned by Vittorio Muolo and his siblings, is set within a large estate that offers the true atmosphere of a traditional Apulian Masseria overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Torre Coccaro is that kind of place where you check in stressed out from everyday life and after one week of great food, joyful and festive evenings and long beach days come back with full energy. You will find Torre Coccaro surrounded by olive groves more than 800 years old from which the historic estate sources its own olive oil.

Good to know

In the main courtyard of the estate there is the original chapel from 1730. Today you will find here the large but cosy Chapel Suite, with a bedroom faced to the sea.The Masseria has 43 bedrooms, all of them furnished with country chic design. The suites or connectable rooms in the tower are perfect for families and there is also another 2-bedroom villa in the courtyard. All rooms are light and breezy, with stone walls and arched ceilings keeping them cool in summer. There’s a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool where you can relax with snacks and drinks, shadowed from the midday heat or enjoy a poolside breakfast. It is impossible not to eat well at the laid-back accommodation as the kitchen uses fruits and herbs grown in the estates own organic garden.
